# Daily Generation Strategy
# Iterate, experiment, evolve until golden

## The Golden Equation

**Quality + Curation + Volume = Golden**

Daily generation creates feedback loop:
1. Generate small batch (1-3/day)
2. Review via gallery dashboard
3. Rate and keep best (4+ stars)
4. Learn what works
5. Evolve prompts based on winners
6. Repeat

## Daily Generation Schedule

### Week 1: ComfyUI Classics Validation
**Goal:** Test if detailed ComfyUI prompts improve Cloudflare quality

- **Mon:** comfyui-classics.sh (20 prompts)
- **Tue:** showcase-glitch.sh (10 prompts)
- **Wed:** showcase-selective-color.sh (10 prompts)
- **Thu:** showcase-mecha-geo.sh (10 prompts)
- **Fri:** showcase-bedroom-views.sh (9 prompts)
- **Sat:** showcase-chaos.sh (6 prompts)
- **Sun:** showcase-geometric-patterns.sh (10 prompts)

**Total:** 85 wallpapers

**Expected outcome:** Validate ComfyUI prompt quality on Cloudflare

### Week 2: Theme Deep Dives
**Goal:** Double down on winning themes from Week 1

Review Week 1 results. Identify top 3 themes. Generate 5/day of:
- Winning theme A (5 variations)
- Winning theme B (5 variations)
- Winning theme C (5 variations)

**Example if glitch wins:**
- Pixel sort variations (vertical, horizontal, radial)
- RGB shift intensities (subtle, extreme, color-specific)
- Databending types (JPEG, MPEG, ZIP, artificial)

### Week 3: Hybrid Experiments
**Goal:** Cross-pollinate winning themes

If glitch + bedroom POVs both won:
- Bedroom window with glitch rain
- Bedroom POV with RGB shift on window
- Interior with pixel sorting on objects

**Approach:** 3/day hybrid experiments

### Week 4: Refinement Phase
**Goal:** Polish top performers, create consistent series

Take top 10 from Weeks 1-3. For each:
- Generate 5 color variants (CGA palettes, toxic, vaporwave, etc.)
- Generate 5 composition variants (angles, zoom levels, crop)
- Pick best from each set

**Outcome:** 10 polished wallpapers ready for Steam

## Daily Generation Routine

### Morning Check (5 min)
1. Check gallery dashboard for yesterday's results
2. Rate new wallpapers (quick 1-5 stars)
3. Note any standouts

### Evening Generation (2 min trigger)
```bash
# Via cron or manual:
bash /workspace/group/neoncyber/scripts/daily-generation.sh
```

**Or manual with keyword:**
```bash
bash /workspace/group/neoncyber/scripts/daily-generation.sh glitch
bash /workspace/group/neoncyber/scripts/daily-generation.sh bedroom
```

### Weekly Review (30 min)
1. Review all 7-20 wallpapers from week
2. Identify patterns in what you rated 4-5 stars
3. Note themes, techniques, colors that worked
4. Plan next week's focus

## Evolution Triggers

### What to Change Each Week

**If ComfyUI prompts win big:**
- Abandon current Cloudflare prompts
- Adopt ComfyUI-style 80-150 word prompts
- Focus on specific techniques (pixel sort, CGA, etc.)

**If bedroom POVs win:**
- Generate more interior views
- Test: cafe, office, subway, train car
- Experiment with weather (rain, fog, snow)

**If glitch wins:**
- Push extreme: VHS corruption, databending, bitcrush
- Test: glitch + selective color combinations
- Explore: glitch applied to different subjects

**If geometry wins:**
- Test: impossible architecture vs pure geometric forms
- Explore: wireframe vs solid renders
- Push: tesseract variations, Klein bottle studies

**If nothing 4+ stars:**
- Adjust model (try Phoenix 1.0 instead of Lucid Origin)
- Increase steps to 10-12 for quality
- Shorten prompts (try 60-80 words instead)
- Change technique (less specific, more atmospheric)

## Golden Signals

**You're getting close when:**
- Multiple 4-star ratings in a batch
- You want to set one as your desktop wallpaper
- It stands out from your Steam Workshop research
- Technique feels unique, not generic

**Golden wallpaper characteristics:**
- Strong mood/atmosphere (contemplative, oppressive, dreamy)
- Clean composition (not cluttered, not empty)
- Bold color choice (CGA, selective, toxic)
- Unique element (something you haven't seen before)
- Desktop-friendly (doesn't distract, enhances space)

## Evolution Metrics

Track weekly:

**Week 1-2:**
- 4+ star rate: <10%
- Goal: Find what works at all

**Week 3-4:**
- 4+ star rate: 10-25%
- Goal: Identify winning themes

**Week 5-6:**
- 4+ star rate: 25-50%
- Goal: Refine techniques

**Week 7-8:**
- 4+ star rate: 50-75%
- Goal: Hit golden wallpaper

**Week 9-10:**
- 4+ star rate: 75%+
- Goal: Consistent golden series

## Daily Prompt Evolution

### Week 1 Prompt (ComfyUI Classic)
"Single sphere floating in void. Glossy black obsidian surface reflecting nothing. Pure void background. No floor, no walls, no context. Just the sphere and infinite darkness. Ray-traced reflections, subsurface scattering. CGA palette: cyan rim light, magenta fill, black void. Minimal masterpiece. 1920x1080 widescreen."

### Week 2 Prompt (If minimal wins)
"Single geometric form floating in void. Perfect obsidian sphere rendered with ray-traced reflections. No environment, no context. CGA palette: cyan rim lighting, magenta fill, black void background. Subsurface scattering on surface. Cinematic lighting from above. Minimal masterpiece quality. 1920x1080 widescreen."

### Week 3 Prompt (If sphere wins)
"Perfect sphere hovering in empty void. Glossy black obsidian surface with ray-traced reflections showing nothing. Pure black void background. No floor, no walls, no context. Ray-traced reflections, subsurface scattering, rim lighting. CGA strict palette: cyan rim light, magenta fill, black void. Minimal masterpiece. 1920x1080 widescreen."

Notice refinement: Same concept, tighter execution each iteration.

## Rapid Testing Mode

When stuck or plateauing:

**Test 3 variations of same concept in parallel:**
1. Ultra-minimal (20 words)
2. Medium detail (50 words)
3. ComfyUI-detail (100 words)

See which prompt length/style Lucid Origin prefers.

**Test same prompt with 3 models:**
1. FLUX.1-schnell (fast, baseline)
2. Lucid Origin (artistic interpretation)
3. Phoenix 1.0 (prompt adherence)

Compare results side-by-side.

## Anti-Patterns to Avoid

❌ Generating without reviewing (curation backlog)
❌ Same prompt every day (no iteration)
❌ Ignoring gallery metrics (what's working?)
❌ Sticking with losing themes (pivot fast)
❌ Over-generating (10+ daily = curation nightmare)
❌ Being precious (delete liberally, experiment freely)

## Pro-Patterns to Follow

✅ Daily small batches (1-3/day)
✅ Review within 24 hours
✅ Rate everything (4+ star = keep)
✅ Note what works (keep a scratchpad)
✅ Iterate on winners (refine, don't reinvent)
✅ Delete liberally (space is cheap, taste is expensive)
✅ Pivot weekly (if something isn't working, change it)

## The Path to Golden

**Daily habit:**
1. Generate (auto or manual)
2. Review (gallery dashboard)
3. Rate (star system)
4. Note (what worked/didn't)
5. Iterate (tomorrow's prompts)

**Weekly habit:**
1. Review all weekly results
2. Identify 1-3 winning concepts
3. Plan next week's focus
4. Adjust daily script themes

**Monthly habit:**
1. Assess progress against success criteria
2. Decide: continue or pivot strategy
3. Plan next month's experiments
4. Update daily generation script

## In Practice

## The Golden Moment

You'll know it when:
- You rate something 5 stars without hesitation
- You want to use it immediately as your wallpaper
- It feels like something you'd see on Wallhaven front page
- Technique is recognizable but not generic
- Mood is strong but not overwhelming

That's when you've arrived.

## Next Steps

1. **Today:** Run comfyui-classics.sh when Cloudflare resets
2. **This week:** Review, rate, iterate
3. **Keep going:** Daily generation, weekly review, monthly assessment
4. **Stay flexible:** Pivot when something isn't working
5. **Trust curation:** Your taste is the filter

The goal isn't 1000 wallpapers. The goal is 10-20 golden ones that define your aesthetic.

Daily generation is the path. Curation is the compass. Keep walking.
